Tell us what you think
What you tell us can help us make hearings better and support other children and young people in the future.
We are all ears and can’t wait to hear from you.
How to tell us how you felt about your hearing
Feedback is when you tell us what you think or how something made you feel. You can tell us about something good. You can also tell us about something you did not like or something we could do better.
A complaint is when you tell us you are unhappy about something we did, something we did not do, or the way you were treated. You can tell us what happened, how it made you feel and what you would like us to do.

Let us know what you liked or what could be better
If something went well at your hearing, tell us about it.
Was there something that made you feel comfortable, supported or understood during your hearing?
If someone did something kind or helpful before, during or after your hearing, we'd love to hear about it.
If you have an idea that would make hearings better, tell us about that too!
Here's feedback we've received before:
"I like that someone asked me how I felt"
"The explanations really helped me understand what the adults were talking about"
"I liked it when everyone smiled at me"
Making a complaint
⚠️ “Something wasn’t right”
😕 “This didn’t feel okay”
🛠️ “Something needs fixing”
❗ “I need to tell you about a problem”
💬 “I want to say something didn’t work”

Let us know if something wasn’t right
If anything happens before, during or after your hearing that you didn’t expect or made you feel unsure or uncomfortable, it’s important you tell someone.
You can also ask a trusted adult to help you share it with us. If you can’t talk about it out loud, you can write it down or draw a picture on paper and share it with us.
Here are some complaints we've received before:
"I didn't understand what people were talking about in my hearing"
"I felt nervous and want help next time so I feel more confident to speak"
"I didn't like waiting such a long time"
It's important for you to know
We keep all complaints private. That means we only tell the people who really need to know.
You can also choose to make a complaint without telling us your name. This is called making a complaint anonymously.
If you don’t want us to share your name with the person you’re complaining about, that’s okay. Just remember it might make it harder for us to sort out the problem. But we will always do what you ask and keep your information safe.
