What is the Voicebank?

CHS values the opinions and experiences of children and young people. The Voicebank is the name we have given to the group of children and young people who have opted in to give regular feedback.

This is a volunteer role. Throughout the year you will get regular emails with our question of the month. You will be asked to give your honest views and opinions on the topic by completing an anonymous form. You will not be asked to give your name when responding to our questions.

Who can get involved?

If you are aged 12 and over and have current or recent experience of children’s hearings, we would like to get you involved and can’t wait to hear from you.

Why should I get involved?

The CHS Voicebank gives you the chance to have your say on things that matter to you about hearings and create change for other young people.

How do I get involved?

Click on the Sign up button and complete the short form.

What do I have to do?

Keep an eye out for an email from CHS Voicebank with the latest survey inside and have a look at the questions. Don’t have anything to say? You can skip that question. Have lots to say? Then let us know.

There’s no minimum or maximum number of times you have to respond.

What is the time commitment?

Just as long as it takes you to reply to our questions and press send.

Can I leave the group if I change my mind?

You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing voicebank@chs.gov.scot

How will my opinions create change?

We will look for common themes in the answers and use these to make changes to our training and guidance for our volunteer Panel Members.
