On the 11th June the Ayrshire Area Support Team (AST) held its annual award ceremony in the Council Chambers in Kilmarnock. A total of 50 Panel & AST Members and guests gathered to celebrate the incredible contribution that Ayrshire volunteers have made, and continue to make, to children and young people in their area.
On the 23rd of May, at Burgh Hall in Linlithgow, the Central and West Lothian Area Support Team (AST) held a recognition event for some truly awe-inspiring Panel Members.

Boyd McAdam, National Convener and Chief Executive, is delighted to announce and welcome Rosemary McCormack to the role of Highland & Moray Area Convener. Rosemary commences her appointment today(2nd September). During her induction period Rosemary and acting Depute Area Convener Mairi Maclean will work closely together to ensure a smooth transition.

Children’s Hearings Scotland (CHS) has launched a new, digital version of its Practice and Procedure Manual (PPM). Developed in collaboration between the Practice Team at CHS and members of the CHS community, the digital PPM offers more detailed and comprehensive advice and guidance than ever before, in a fully searchable document.

On the 5th of June, 2019, Dumfries and Galloway Area Support Team thanked and acknowledged each and every one of its volunteers with an afternoon tea at Threave Gardens, Castle Douglas.
On 13 June, the Inverclyde Area Support Team hosted a lovely event to acknowledge the contribution to the welfare of children and young people in Inverclyde of Panel Members and Area Support Team (AST) volunteers and to welcome new members.
