Procurement Children’s Hearings Scotland (CHS) fully complies with public sector procurement obligations. Our procurement activity is guided by legislation and best practice to ensure that value for money is obtained in all procurement exercises undertaken. CHS does not have an internal procurement function, but has shared service arrangements in place for the provision of procurement services. These arrangements are in place with: Scottish Children’s Reporter Administration National Records of Scotland Process We use a range of procurement procedures depending on the value and nature of what is being purchased: For opportunities below £50,000, invitations to tender will be sent to a minimum of three appropriate suppliers through the “Quick Quote” section of Public Contracts Scotland website. Contracts over £50,000 are advertised on the Public Contracts Scotland portal and may also be advertised in the latest news section of our website. Interested suppliers must formally apply for these opportunities through the portal, and applicants will be considered in terms of their capacity and capability to supply our requirements. You can express your interest in these opportunities by registering as a supplier on the Public Contracts Scotland website. You will then be notified of any suitable contracts which you can then apply for. More information about public sector procurement is available on the Scottish Government’s website. CHS’ Standard Terms and Conditions of Contract shall apply, unless special Terms and Conditions have previously been agreed.
