How we are funded FUNDING As a public body, Children's Hearings Scotland (CHS) is given a revenue grant in aid by the Scottish Government each year. This allows us to carry out our activities as directed in the Children’s Hearings (Scotland) Act 2011. In the financial years 2015/16, 2016/17 and 2017/18, CHS was allocated revenue grant in aid of £3.70m. EXPENDITURE Every autumn, we also publisH our Annual Reports & Accounts which details how our resources have been allocated. PUBLIC SERVICES REFORM (SCOTLAND) ACT 2010 Sections 31 and 32 of the Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010 impose duties on the Scottish Government and listed public bodies to publish information on the following types of expenditure as soon as reasonably practicable after each year end: Public relations Overseas travel Hospitality and entertainment External consultancy Individual payments greater than £25,000.
